With a new area of 200 square meters on the fourth floor of Dongguan Library, 423 Reading Space is built for reading clubs and workshops. It is divided into three parts which are reading area, workshop and activity zone, with a collection of more than 1000 popular books. The Space is not open to the Library, but also to reading clubs of the whole city. There have been some activities since June 2014, for example, Donghua Hospital Reading Club book sharing and Yidu Reading Club poem appreciation.
